Responsibilities

• Supervise patient tray line to ensure proper setup and timely delivery.
• Monitor food preparation across salad, cooks, and bakers for all service areas.
• Review daily patient census to adjust production needs.
• Keep cafeteria stocked with food items as needed.
• Update and follow sanitation schedules and logs per policy.
• Post schedules and ensure proper staffing in kitchen/cafeteria.
• Oversee cafeteria line setup and serving accuracy.
• Ensure product quality and correct temperatures for meals.
• Set up cash drawers for cafeteria cashiers and complete cash sales reports.
• Enforce personnel policies and address staffing issues.
• Close the department per hospital policies.
