Job summary

The role requires training of cooks, supervising line efficiency, and assisting in ordering and scheduling. Candidates should possess a Food Handler Card and 1–2 years of supervisory kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• 1–2 years of supervisory kitchen experience.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards.
• Knowledge of broiler cooking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of sauté cooking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and kitchen safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the cooks and cold pantry production per recipes.
• Verify use records and ensure portion control for all items.
• Monitor line setup for maximum efficiency during meals.
• Assist in cross-training and training new staff on the service line.
• Help the Chef maintain quality and presentation standards on the front line.
• Prepare daily production lists and assist in scheduling/order needs.
