Call Your Mother is hiring a Kitchen Supervisor for Lake View in Chicago. The role focuses on leading the kitchen team, maintaining safety and quality, and ensuring smooth service from open to close.

You will train staff, supervise performance, and collaborate with the General Manager to uphold standards. The position offers hourly pay with tips (roughly $23–$25/hour with tips), plus health/dental/vision, paid time off, parental leave, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience leading kitchen teams or working in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Ability to train and supervise staff and maintain high standards.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Train new kitchen staff and continuously retrain all kitchen staff to maintain standards.
• Partner with the General Manager to keep the kitchen team accountable for punctuality, behavior and performance.
• Lead a clean, organized, food-safe kitchen from open to close.
• Maintain equipment with weekly deep cleanings.
• Build high quality sandwiches and prep ingredients for service.
• Follow recipes and standards to ensure consistent quality.
• Keep ticket times fast while preserving quality.
• Keep the kitchen stocked and ready for rushes.
• Adapt to menu changes and coach the team to improve.
• Pitch in wherever teammates need you most.
