Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Housekeeping Lead Supervisor to oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms meet cleanliness standards and are prepared for guests. You will supervise all floor staff and uphold the resort's standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

The role requires prior supervisory or management experience in a hotel or resort with 500+ rooms, strong time management, and knowledge of hospitality settings. English/Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Housekeeping Lead Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Housekeeping Lead Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective daily operation relating to the department, as set forth by the Resort’s standards and will administer the supervision of all floor staff. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring rooms are maintained to set standards of cleanliness and are ready in a timely manner for guest accommodations.

As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love— guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure high-quality service, consistent product standards, and a welcoming atmosphere. You’ll provide leadership, support teamwork, and foster a positive and efficient work environment for associates.

Position starting as early as September.

Pay Rate - $20 - $24/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate staff work performance on an on-going basis, praises and disciplines staff as appropriate.
• Monitor and schedule routine inspections of all guest rooms/suites and public areas to ensure everything is clean and in good repair.
• Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, associates and other departments.
• Ensure implementation of all Kalahari policies and resorts rules. Understand housekeeping terms, chemical and hazardous material handling, and sanitation/cleanliness standards.
• Prepare and review daily housekeeping reports when needed.
