Base pay range

Job Summary

As a GetGo Kitchen Lead, you will exceed customer and Team Member needs and expectations by providing safe, efficient, accurate, and pleasant food service. You will also provide guidance and coaching to Team Members, ensuring the store runs smoothly. This role offers a fast track to store leadership — coaching, supervising, and leading the kitchen team, often on behalf of the Store Leader.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 1 to 3 years
• Experience Desired: Supervisory role and food service experience
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Preferred: Food Safety
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain safety as the top priority for Team Members, customers, and products.
• Provide safe, efficient, accurate, and pleasant food service, along with guidance and coaching to Team Members and exemplary service to vendors and stakeholders.
• Create a fast, friendly culture by sharing warmth and passion for service with a smile.
• Assist management in achieving sales and profit goals by encouraging sampling and managing shrink.
• Monitor quality control in the kitchen and during food and supply ordering.
• Ensure all Team Members are cross-trained to maintain flexibility.
• Lead the team in the Kitchen and step in as a GoGetter when needed.
• Keep restrooms clean and well-stocked.
• Monitor competitor fuel pricing and collaborate with partners to stay competitive.
• Address equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure Team Members have access to training and resources.
• Provide training and leadership to hourly Team Members and peer Leads.
• Supervise product merchandising and safety compliance, including food safety certification.
• Set and promote sales and performance goals, providing tools to reach them.
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, and plan strategically.
• Foster an inclusive and diverse environment where every Team Member has a voice.
