Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Battle Creek, MI is seeking an energetic Kitchen Supervisor to lead front-end production and ensure high standards of food quality and service.

You will supervise staff, follow opening procedures including cash handling, uphold safety, sanitation, grooming, and accountability, and support training and growth opportunities within a family-like team. Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

• Oversee front end production
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
• Perform any other duties as specified by management

Requirements:

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required

• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis
