Job summary

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System is seeking a Kitchen Storekeeper - Per Diem (Temp) to manage food deliveries and inventory in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Responsibilities include stocking, sanitation, and possibly operating a van for community events. Ideal candidates will have experience in food storage and basic math skills. The position offers competitive pay ranging from $17.00 to $22.95 per hour with potential additional benefits such as tuition assistance and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in food receiving, storage and ordering preferred.
• Must have basic knowledge of math and the ability to follow oral and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Secure all scheduled deliveries of food products.
• Assist in weekly and/or monthly physical inventory recording.
• Stock all food and non-food items.
• Distribute all food and non-food items.
• Maintain daily sanitation of storage/work areas.
• Operate the Market van to bring food to community events.
• Cross train in food prep.
• Cross train in sanitation.
• Help stock cafeteria shelves and coolers.
• Perform other duties as needed.
