Job summary

Evolution Hospitality at Carmel Mission Inn in Carmel-by-the-Sea is hiring a Kitchen Steward. You’ll keep china, glass, and silver shining, maintain sanitation, and work with the kitchen team to keep the station spotless and organized.

This on-site role offers $16.90–$19.00 per hour with full-time eligibility for a benefits package including Daily Pay, medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, PTO, EAP, and a 401k after introductory period.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality setting.
• Strong emphasis on cleanliness and sanitation.
• Reliable team player with flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, scrub pots, sweep floors, and take out the trash to keep the kitchen fresh.
• Restock and store china, glass, and silver carefully to avoid breaks.
• Greet guests and teammates with a positive, can-do attitude and assist where needed.
• Demonstrate reliability and sound judgment while representing the team.
