PACS is seeking a dependable dishwasher to assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. Responsibilities include operating the dishwasher, stocking supplies, and supporting dietary staff with daily tasks to ensure smooth shift operations.

The role requires basic education and the ability to read procedures, with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and frequent standing. Schooling and food handler certification may be required.

Qualifikationen

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Language Skills: Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes; communicate with managers and coworkers.

Aufgaben

• Must strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine at shift start.
• Observe water temperatures of dishwasher during cycles.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Put groceries away in a safe, orderly and clean manner.
• Leave kitchen clean and sanitary; assist cook or dietary supervisor.
• Clean work surfaces and refrigerators.
• Sweep, mop and maintain floors.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
• Work cooperatively with personnel in all departments.
