Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a diligent Kitchen Steward to sanitize and clean dishes, glassware, and flatware, wash pots and pans, and maintain clean kitchen surfaces and equipment in Las Vegas.

You will sweep and mop kitchen floors, dispose waste properly, and help keep all kitchen areas sanitary and organized while adhering to safety guidelines. Applicants must be able to stand/walk for long shifts, handle chemicals correctly, and meet licensing requirements where required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
• Knowledge of proper chemicals and techniques used in job duties.
• Able to maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and clean dishes, silverware, and glassware by hand or in dishwasher.
• Wash pots, pans, and trays.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
• Dispose waste into designated waste areas.
