Qualifications

• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Experience with commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Familiar with food safety and sanitation practices.
• High school or vocational coursework in kitchen basics preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Food handler certification within 30 days of employment if not already certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room.
• Wash utensils, equipment and dishes using a dishwasher or by hand.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep and wash floors; remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Assist in unloading deliveries and support Head/Sous Chef with tasks.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and customers.
• Communicate with management via calls, emails, and texts.
• Help with basic food preparation as directed.
