Job summary

Singh Management Co., Llc seeks a Dishwasher to support the kitchen team in Sterling Heights, MI. You will ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen, manage dishes and utensils, and help maintain a positive mealtime presentation for residents.

Responsibilities include cleaning duties, adherence to sanitation standards, and assisting the Culinary staff as needed in a fast-paced residential dining environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dish cleaning practices and dining etiquette.
• Knowledge of proper food service sanitation techniques.
• Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and equipment and load the dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and carry them to storage or line.
• Wash pots, pans, and utensils by hand as directed.
• Sweep kitchen floors, keep floors sanitized, and take out trash.
• Mop stockrooms and report hazards to the Culinary Supervisor or Director.
• Adhere to sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Culinary Supervisor or Director.
