Position Summary

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for assisting in the efficient operation of the kitchen and restaurants by maintaining cleanliness standards through the operation of dishwashing equipment and sinks, polishing silverware, removing garbage, cleaning of equipment and work areas including the sweeping and mopping of floors. The Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher will also assist in general food preparation for events. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $18.05-$22.56. Benefits are per the union agreement. This position will remain open until August 15, 2025.

About the Venue

Allegiant Stadium is the technologically-advanced stadium that is the home of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team and hosts world-class entertainment including concerts and sporting events.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies when necessary.
2. Dispose of waste in accordance with waste management procedures.
3. Clean all pots and pans, and maintain kitchens and stewarding areas.
4. Follow and maintain knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
5. Practice all HACCP procedures and ensure complete cleanliness and sanitation.
6. Scrape, rinse, and wash dishes by hand or using dishwashing machines, ensuring cleanliness.
7. Polish silverware using appropriate equipment and techniques.
8. Maintain safety procedures, including temperature and chemical level monitoring.
9. Keep dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
10. Sweep and mop kitchen floors for sanitation and safety.
11. Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food prep surfaces.
12. Remove trash and clean trash containers.
13. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
14. Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
