Job summary

Sifted is hiring for a kitchen role in our Austin commissary, working side by side with an experienced managing chef. If you’re reliable, eager to learn, and a dedicated team player, we’d love to meet you.

You’ll handle dishwashing, receive and store food, organize walk-in and dry storage, light prep, and communicate with the chef and manager about kitchen issues. This on-site role offers growth opportunities in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• Has previous kitchen roles such as line cook, prep/dishwasher, or porter.
• Experience with catering and event servicing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to bend, twist, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing.
• Receiving and storing food shipments.
• Cleaning and organizing walk-in and dry storage.
• Light food prep.
