Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group’s San Diego property is seeking a PM Full-Time dedicated Kitchen Steward to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of our kitchen and food service areas. You’ll support the culinary team by ensuring all equipment, utensils, and facilities are clean, safe, and ready for service.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior stewarding or cleaning experience is preferred but not required, and safety and teamwork are emphasized

Qualifications

• Flexibility: This role requires availability for flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience: Previous stewarding, housekeeping, or cleaning role is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, safe handling practices, sanitation standards, and proper equipment use is helpful.
• People Skills: Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented.
• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
• Keep kitchen floors, walls, counters, and storage areas clean and organized; report maintenance needs and hazards.
• Assist with ensuring an adequate supply of clean service ware and support chefs as needed.
