Job summary

Legal Sea Foods in Cambridge, MA is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our busy kitchen team. This position offers hourly pay of $17.00 and a flexible full-time/part-time schedule.

You will maintain a clean and organized dish area, help manage dishware flows, and support safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced seafood restaurant environment. No prior experience is required, but reliability and strong communication are valued. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to take direction well.
• Works well on a team.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Adapts and embraces changes as they occur.

Responsibilities

• Proper use, care, and maintenance of the dish machine.
• Keep a clean supply of dishware, glassware, and silverware as well as an adequate supply of utensils for the kitchen.
• Properly dispose of kitchen waste and recycling, keeping disposal areas clean and organized.
• Perform various maintenance clean-up functions, such as general cleaning & sanitizing.
• Minor interior and exterior maintenance (snow and ice removal, trash removal).
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Other related duties assigned by Management.
