Job summary

Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile is seeking a motivated Steward to join our bustling kitchen team. You will wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, helping maintain a clean, organized environment that supports our culinary operations in downtown Chicago.

You will assist with food preparation and plating as needed, ensure proper handling and storage of food and supplies, and follow food safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to support the culinary team.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and supplies.
