Job summary

Shaver Food Hall in Dallas is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to ensure a steady flow of clean service ware, pots and pans, and a sanitary kitchen area. You will work closely with cooks and servers to keep dishes moving and stations organized.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, adherence to food safety rules, and a positive teamwork attitude. Prior food-handling certification is a plus; on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and practice proper sanitation procedures

Responsibilities

• Provide clean service ware, pots and pans to maintain smooth kitchen flow.
• Set up/break down dishwashing machine and stock areas.
• Wash tableware, silverware, pots and pans promptly and thoroughly.
• Keep dishwashing area and stainless steel clean and dry; monitor water temps and chemical levels.
• Store all clean china, glassware and utensils properly and maintain sanitation across kitchen.
