Job summary

Fish City Grill in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a reliable Dishwasher to clean dishes, smallwares and glassware and to maintain a safe, sanitary work area. You will also assist with setting and maintaining tables and support the front-of-house team as needed.

The role involves operating the dish machine, handling approved cleaning chemicals, and participating in bussing and general cleaning duties to ensure a smooth service. Must be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year minimum dishwashing and/or Busser experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.
• Able to interact professionally with other Customers and Team Members.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Good judgment and decision making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning all dishes, smallwares, and glassware within the restaurant according to standards and expectations while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary work area.
• Responsible for cleaning, setting and maintenance of tables.
• Perform the role of a Dishwasher.
• Maintain the dish machine with correct maintenance.
• Provide a clean and safe environment for Customers.
• Assist Host by seating Customers.
