Job summary

TC Restaurant Group is hiring a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, glassware, and related equipment. The role requires punctuality, reliability, and a team-oriented approach to support kitchen staff and maintain a safe work environment.

The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and following all sanitary and health-related protocols in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Labor-intensive role with potential heavy lifting.
• Strong time management and reliability are essential.
• Able to operate in a hot, humid environment and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Organize all dirty dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, etc. into a dishwasher
• Ensure that the water in the dishwasher is taken out on an hourly basis
• Roll/unroll mats to clean floors
• Operate the industrial dishwasher
• Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles
• Clean iced tea, coffee and other machines daily
• Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources
• Clean dish storage and follow sanitation policies
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff during peak times
• Perform opening, closing and side work
• Clean spills or broken glassware immediately
• Report sanitation or janitorial issues
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
