Job summary

Skytop Lodge in Kentucky is seeking a Steward to clean and reshelve soiled dishware and glassware used in the dining room, kitchen and employees’ cafe. The role may include other sanitation tasks as time permits.

There is no prior experience required; training is provided. The position requires lifting up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods, and working shifts that include weekends and holidays in a kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• No formal experience is required; on-the-job training provided.
• After training, safe use of the dish machine.
• Knowledge of safe handling of dishware, glassware, racks and trays.

Responsibilities

• Take tray of dirty items from tray rack.
• Scrape excess food from dishes and place them in proper racks.
• Feed dirty dishes into dishwasher with dirty trays and glass racks.
• Stack clean dishes and glasses on the table or put away in their proper kitchen locations.
