Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Buffalo, NY is seeking a diligent dishwashing teammate to maintain a clean kitchen area and ensure health and safety standards are met. Responsibilities include washing dishes, keeping floors and shelves clean, assisting with deliveries, and providing courteous service to customers and Team Members.

You will also support prep and stocking, follow procedures, and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives on time and is properly groomed; works all shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly, models suggestive selling.
• Maximizes sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work practices; adheres to Weights and Measures.
• Maintains clean and sanitary working/shopping environment; handles equipment safely.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy; reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
