Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking an entry-level Team Member to wash dishes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and assist with food prep and stocking in Vienna, VA. You’ll handle customer interactions, support store operations, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while upholding health and safety standards.

The role includes lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and opportunities to learn about natural foods and company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries and proper storage/rotation of products.
• Arrives on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; participates in trainings.
• Provides courteous customer service and answers phones promptly and courteously.
• Supports sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safe work procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe working/shopping environment and equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or leadership.
• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work 6–8 hours standing.
