Job summary

Ruth's Chris Steak House is seeking a dishwashing team member to assist in setup, operation, and cleanup of the restaurant interior and exterior. Responsibilities include washing and stocking dishware, maintaining the dishwashing area, and ensuring sanitation standards are met throughout the shift.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working nights, weekends, and holidays. Adherence to safety guidelines and teamwork with BOH staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months general labor or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and listen attentively.
• English language communication required.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Reports on time and works at the dishwashing station as scheduled.
• Cleans and maintains dishwashing area and machine; keeps area sanitary.
• Washes, stores and stocks dishware, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Keeps floors, walls and front/back of house areas clean as assigned.
• Performs closing duties and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Follows all safety, health and sanitation guidelines.
