Job summary

Talbott Hotel is seeking a Kitchen Steward to keep dishes, glassware, and silverware spotless and organized while maintaining high sanitation standards. You’ll support the kitchen team, handle storage with care, and stay flexible to help with daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes reliability under pressure, clear communication, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude within a hotel setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, and/or relevant experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Strong decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate and select among alternative actions quickly and accurately.
• Ability to perform effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Capacity to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen shining by cleaning dishes, scrubbing pots, sweeping floors, and taking out the trash—making every corner fresh and fabulous for the whole team!
• Replace all clean china, glass, and silver in their proper storage spots (with care—no breakage here!)
• Bring your best smile, connect with guests and teammates (sometimes solo!), and jump into any task with a can-do, flexible attitude—because every day brings something new and awesome!
• Be the rock of reliability—show off your good character, make smart choices, and let your trustworthiness shine as you represent our team!
