Job summary

Elevation Catering is seeking a dependable Kitchen Staff Member to join our team in Millcreek/Midvale, UT. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with weekends off, and involves assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean kitchen during fast-paced service.

You will help with meal service, food safety, and support cooks and supervisors as needed while upholding high standards of cleanliness and timely attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, food service, or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Food Handler Permit (or ability to obtain one).

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Receive, store, and rotate food products following food safety guidelines.

• Follow all health department regulations and company food safety standards.
• Support cooks and kitchen supervisors with daily operations.
• Lift and move food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Complete assigned cleaning and closing duties.
