Job description

Scope: Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the dishware, cookware, utensils, equipment, and the dining room/kitchen areas

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Accountable and responsible for maintaining a safety culture (following all SOP’s, JSA’s, Policies and Procedures) as set out by Target Hospitality
  2. Clean and maintain cleanliness of the dining room and service areas
  3. Sweep and mop floors in both the kitchen and the dining room
  4. Clean and sanitize all dishes, cookware, and equipment thoroughly
  5. Assist in the re-stocking of all coolers and displays in the dining room
  6. Follow sanitation guidelines of Target Hospitality safe operation procedures
  7. Ensure all chemicals and cleaning agents are at proper level in mechanical dishwasher
  8. Operation and sanitation of a mechanical dishwasher
  9. Properly follow HACCP guidelines for correct manual dishwashing procedures
  10. Ensure clean dishes, flatware, cookware and equipment is put away properly
  11. Assist in the preparation of the salad bar and sandwich stations
  12. Washing and slicing vegetables
  13. Cleaning work stations
  14. Assisting in the prep for hot meals
  15. Exceed our guests needs by providing world-class customer service
  16. Attend all safety meetings and participate in Target Hospitality emergency response procedures
  17. Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor or manager

Physical Demands:

  1. Stand and squat for long periods of time (up to 12 hours or more) with scheduled breaks
  2. Short and long-distance walking required
  3. Use of stairs and step stools
  4. Use force when pushing/pulling carts that weigh on average 50lbs
  5. Ability to work in a physically demanding high stress environment
  6. Operation of kitchen machinery
  7. Frequently lift an average weight of 25lbs with a maximum of 50lbs; assistance of another person or a lifting aid is mandatory for weights exceeding 50lbs
  8. Frequently reach below waist, waist to shoulder, and above shoulder with frequent neck/back/torso twisting from left to right without restriction
  9. Perform repetitive movements at the wrist including side to side/up or down and multiple grasps of an average of 10lbs with a maximum of 25lbs
  10. Occasional exposure to manual dexterity with the ability to type and use 10-key

Working Conditions Environment:

  1. Ability to hear and understand verbal instruction as well as other sounds such as safety alarms/signals
  2. Ability to communicate effectively; written and orally in English
  3. Must be able to see without impairment for inspection purposes and ability to read small text such as product warning labels
  4. Exposure to extreme hot and cold environments
  5. Ability to work within a rotational schedule (6 weeks on and 2 weeks off or as per manager’s discretion/business needs)
  6. Ability to work safely and navigate within small/close quarters and congested areas
  7. May be exposed periodically to elevated noise and surroundings
  8. Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home

Candidate Requirements:

  1. 1+ years Dishwashing experience or equivalent experience, preferably in a remote camp or hotel/hospitality industries or equivalent
  2. Ability to read and write in English
  3. Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with or without supervision
  4. Strong prioritization and time management skills
  5. Ability and willingness to travel/work long rotations away from home
  6. Must be able to pass a background check and urine analysis
  7. Must provide your own transportation to and from the facility
