Overview:

A Hooters Kitchen employee is an integral part of the day-to-day operations at every Hooters restaurant. The Kitchen employee is responsible for consistently executing all Hooters kitchen systems and standards to provide guests with the highest quality food products. They adhere to all recipe specifications while preparing or cooking menu items and are accountable for safe food handling, food quality standards, and presentation. The employee demonstrates teamwork, maintains a positive attitude, and complies with uniform and grooming standards. Responsibilities:
  • Communicate professionally with the team
  • Complete daily tasks and assigned projects
  • Set up and breakdown the kitchen
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dish area and remove trash
  • Receive and rotate food supplies
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming standards
  • Continuously develop kitchen knowledge
  • Practice proper food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
  • Follow Hooters recipes, operating procedures, and systems
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Awareness of safe food handling practices
  • Knowledge of equipment safety
  • Detail-oriented with knife handling skills
  • Basic mathematical skills
