Position Summary:
- Prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.
- Participate in occasional catering functions.
- Perform all positions within the kitchen.

Functions of the Job:
Essential Functions Production
- Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperature.
- Assist in food preparation according to the menu plan and recipes.
- Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
- Manage inventory and practice FIFO procedures.
- Prepare baked goods and present food appealingly.
- Set up and restock serving lines, serve food with proper utensils and sizes.
Compliance
- Follow menu plans and recipes accurately.
- Maintain food safety logs and follow HACCP procedures.
- Obey safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
- Participate in safety and training programs.
Administrative
- Handle customer transactions and meal counts.
- Complete paperwork and submit hours accurately.
- Notify supervisors of shift issues.
Physical/Visual Activities and Demands
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and other physical activities.
- Specific vision abilities required.
Working Conditions
- Indoor and outdoor environments, exposure to heat, chemicals, noise.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or related experience.
Skills
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow instructions.
Equipment
- Dishwasher, oven, slicer, thermometers, software, etc.
