General Summary

Turnbridge seeks passionate and experienced cooks to prepare meals for clients and staff in a home setting, following established menus, recipes, and sanitary standards. Candidates should be team players with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
  • Assist in standardizing the method in which work will be accomplished and that meals are served on time.
  • Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus, adhering to all sanitary regulations.
  • Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance.
  • Prepare food with standardized recipes and adhere to special diet orders.
  • Prepare evening snacks and substitute meals for residents who prefer other food.
  • Work with other departments as necessary in relation to food service needs.
  • Assist management with ordering of food and supplies.
  • Assist in inventorying and storing food and supplies.
  • Work closely with residents.

Schedule

We seek candidates with open availability who can work flexible hours. Both part‑time and full‑time positions are available.

Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in an institutional food service environment, or enrollment in culinary program and strong desire to learn.
  • Experience in catering and/or an assisted living, long‑term care, hospital or other health care environment preferred.
