Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars. You will follow recipes, prepare items, label and rotate inventory, and maintain freshness. Strong customer service and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced store environment.

You will ensure safety, cleanliness, and accurate signage, while assisting with opening, mid, and closing shifts. This role requires physical stamina, reliable scheduling, and commitment to Whole Foods Market standards.

Qualifications

• 6-12 months retail experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to follow a recipe and maintain portion control.
• Basic math and scale calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food items for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets.
• Prepares items according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency.
• Labels, dates, covers, monitors quality and freshness, and rotates items.
• Monitors levels and replenishes items in a timely manner.
• Arrives on time, well-groomed, and completes required trainings and meetings.
• Provides courteous customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintains proper prep, storage, rotation, and merchandising of products.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintains clean and sanitary work and shopping environment; cleans walk-ins and freezers.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
