Job summary

Granite Recovery Center in New Hampshire is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Utility Service Worker to support our residential treatment facility by keeping the kitchen clean, safe, and organized for residents and staff.

You will handle dishwashing, surface cleaning, light food prep as needed, and follow a daily cleaning schedule while upholding food safety standards and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED required
• Prior kitchen or utility experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of kitchen sanitation and food safety
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Must pass background check, drug screening, and MVR check

Responsibilities

• Clean dishes, pots, and pans by hand and/or using a dishwasher
• Clean all work areas, including steam tables, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment
• Sweep and mop the kitchen and cafeteria daily
• Remove garbage and cardboard from the kitchen and cafeteria areas
• Assist in receiving and putting away food and supply deliveries
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of breakfast and lunch service
• Follow a daily and weekly cleaning schedule
• Maintain the dishwashing station and three-compartment sink in a sanitary condition
• May assist with light food preparation as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or facility leadership
