Job summary

Boulder Valley School District is hiring a Kitchen Satellite Lead Floater to support multiple school locations in BVSD’s Food Service program. The role covers daily meal preparation, inventory, and service, with responsibilities across diverse sites to meet lunch program needs.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of food service experience, and be able to lift 50 lbs; English proficiency and basic POS/back-of-house software skills are

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year of professional experience in food service.
Must pass post offer physical, math and FS online training.
Ability to operate kitchen equipment; lift 50 lbs frequently.
Proficient with back-of-house inventory/production software and POS systems.
English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

Prepare meals according to menus and recipes; ensure food safety and portion control.
Record production, inventory, and meal counts in back-of-house software.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and storage areas.
Lead meal service at assigned site; assist with events and promote student participation.
Work with staff to ensure USDA guidelines compliance and wellness goals.
