Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is hiring for a Kitchen Cleaner role. You will support chefs and cooks by maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen and deep cleaning equipment and facilities.

Duties include sanitizing pots, pans, utensils, and all kitchen gear, and ensuring proper waste separation and sanitation throughout the venue. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Food Handler’s Certificate, and 1–2 years of cleaning experience in a restaurant or housekeeping setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain kitchen equipment and surfaces.

• Assist chefs and utility supervisor with banquet events setup, breakdown, and restock of equipment and food.
• Respond to calls regarding trash, spills, and cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.
