Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Utility Associate in Austin, TX to perform sanitation and cleaning duties across equipment, floors, and workstations. The role includes loading and unloading supplies, checking inventory, and following all company safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

As a non-exempt, on-site position, you will handle heavy equipment and interact with coworkers and customers in a friendly manner while maintaining sanitary standards and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment such as work tables, refrigerators and other equipment.
• Cleans utensils, pots and pans by hand or in a dishwasher.
• Returns clean items to proper places and stocks supplies.
• Loads and unloads supply trucks and transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Follows security and safety procedures established by the Company.
