Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Utility Associate in Irving, TX to keep kitchens, equipment and service areas clean and stocked. You will clean equipment, floors, utensils, load/unload supplies, and ensure sanitary standards, following safety procedures and directing your work with team members.

This non-exempt role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment: physical stamina, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, friendly and enthusiastic demeanor, good reading/comprehension, ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment, work tables, refrigerators and other equipment.
• Cleans utensils, pots and pans by hand or in dishwashing machine.
• Returns clean utensils and pots to proper places; removes trash and garbage.
• Sweeps, mops, and cleans floors and walls; cleans steam-clean trashcans.
• Loads and unloads supply trucks; transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
