Job summary

Bay 9 Holdings LLC dba Edgemere in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Kitchen Attendant to maintain cleaning and sanitation of the kitchen and culinary areas. You will ensure sanitation standards and organize inventory and deliveries.

The role is full-time and hourly with a starting wage of $14.00 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, PTO, holidays, and a 401K plan. No experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow written and oral instructions.
• No experience necessary. A willingness to learn.
• Food Handler certification obtained within 60 days of hire as required by state guidelines if state certification program exists.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize pots, dishes, utensils, carts, etc. either by mechanical washing or handwashing.
• Stock and rotate food and non-food supplies using appropriate storing techniques.
• Maintain proper chemical amounts and temperatures for the dish machine and sinks.
• Conduct close procedures of sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, ensure all kitchen equipment is turned off and storage areas are locked.
• Comply with applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintain knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
