$15.00 - $18.39 PER HOUR

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to sell Harmons’ fresh kitchen items by providing remarkable customer service. This person will package products, fill shelves, stock the kitchen department, ensure cleanliness, assist in other areas as needed, and provide exceptional customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow established departmental and store policies and procedures.
• Ensure the quality and freshness of all products and services in the kitchen.
• Maintain appropriate product assortment and inventory levels.
• Verify pricing accuracy and signage, especially for ad items.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen daily to meet company standards.
• Serve chef-prepared salads and entrees from the chef case.
• Slice meats and cheeses to order.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
• Package kitchen products and display them on the sales floor.
• Re-stock the kitchen department and assist with deliveries.
• Assist in other kitchen department tasks as needed.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:

• Interact daily with store associates.
• Interact daily with customers.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:

The work environment is generally safe and comfortable, with potential exposure to hot, cold, and wet conditions. Employees must be able to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, reach, perform repetitive motions, and respond to customer inquiries. Standing, walking, bending, and maneuvering objects up to 50 pounds are required.
