Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Kitchen Runner at Deloitte University Hotel & Conference Center in Westlake, TX. You will coordinate kitchen equipment, deliver food to assigned areas, and assist chefs with plating and banquet needs.

This full-time role requires English reading ability, a Texas driver's license, and availability for 1st or 2nd shift. The position offers competitive pay, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow within Benchmark Hospitality at DU.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old due to vehicle insurance requirements.
• Experience in Stewarding, Kitchens or cleaning areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to all kitchens, including the cafeteria, when needed.
• Assist in putting food and supplies away in the kitchen according to FIFO standards.
• Drive a golf cart and a small box truck to move food and equipment safely.
• Set up and take down stations for serving and cleaning dishes.
• Talk with the chef and banquet leaders to make sure all needs are met.
• Keep food and drink areas clean, sanitized, and well‑organized.
• Help keep all kitchen equipment clean and in order with the steward team.
• Put kitchen tools and equipment back in the correct place after use.
• Keep kitchen areas clean by sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and restocking soap and paper towels.
