Job summary

Kitchen Tune-Up Houston is seeking a motivated Kitchen Remodeling Sales Consultant to guide homeowners from the first conversation through a signed remodeling agreement. You’ll meet with qualified prospects in homes, showrooms, or virtually, and tailor cabinetry, countertops, and layout proposals to fit goals, style, and budget.

You’ll prepare compelling estimates, communicate the remodeling process and financing options, and close deals.

Qualifications

• Proven sales ability with preference for kitchen remodeling or home-improvement sales.
• Strong consultative selling and closing skills.
• Professional, confident communication and relationship-building.
• Comfortable discussing budgets and overcoming objections.
• Excellent follow-up, organization and time management.
• Basic understanding of kitchen design, measurements, materials, or ability to learn quickly.
• Proficient with email, digital proposals, CRM software and virtual meetings.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Some evening or weekend appointments may be required.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners in homes, showrooms or virtually.
• Build trust, understand goals, budget and timeline.
• Recommend cabinetry, countertops, flooring, fixtures and layouts.
• Measure spaces and gather project information.
• Prepare and present professional estimates and proposals.
• Explain remodeling process, pricing, timelines and financing options.
• Follow up with leads and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Close sales and collect agreements and deposits.
• Coordinate with designers, estimators and installation teams.
• Maintain customer relationships through pre-construction.
• Generate referrals and develop additional business via networking and local outreach.
• Keep CRM updated with activity.
