Job summary

Magnolia Kitchen in Waco, Texas is seeking a Production Associate Lead to assist management with daily prep lists, supervise team members, and ensure quality control across all recipes.

You will train and develop staff, maintain a clean, safe work environment, complete production sheets, perform opening and closing duties, and help ensure adherence to food safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–4 years of related work experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Basic baking/cooking knowledge required.
• Texas Food Manager Certification required.
• Must be available to work weekends, evenings, special events, and holidays as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Follow written instructions for all recipes and lead and instruct team members in execution.
• Ensure the highest standards of product quality and alert management to the need to adjust processes if necessary.
• Maintain a clean working environment at all times and maintain appropriate storage of all utensils and supplies.
• Handle, prepare, and store food in ways that prevent foodborne illnesses and ensure compliance with all food safety standards.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Participate in all meetings and training sessions to ensure current knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Assist in training and development of team members and ensure they are enabled to execute duties.
• Complete production sheets and other records as required.
• Finish all opening and closing duties as instructed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
