Job summary

Kuppa Joy Coffee House in California is seeking a Kitchen Production Team Member to help prepare food products, assist with baking and packaging, and maintain quality across all items.

You will follow daily schedules, operate commercial kitchen equipment safely, keep stations clean, and support ingredient prep and inventory. This part-time role offers growth opportunities and a friendly, faith-inspired team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food products according to Kuppa Joy recipes and production standards.
• Assist with baking, assembling, portioning, packaging, labeling, and staging products for delivery.
• Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation across all products.
• Follow daily production schedules to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory organization.
• Communicate with teammates to ensure smooth production flow.
• Follow all food safety, health, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help receive and properly store deliveries.
• Support additional kitchen and production needs as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, and lift.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Work in both warm and refrigerated environments.
• Perform repetitive food preparation tasks.
• Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time 16-24 hours
  • Available between Monday and Saturday 5:00am to 1:30pm (Days and Hours to be determined)
• Saturdays and Holidays are required based on production needs.
• Reliable transportation is required.
