Fogo de Chão in Irvine, CA is hiring Kitchen Prep staff to support our kitchen operations and ensure the right preparation and presentation of salad bar items, sides, and desserts according to recipe in a fast-paced environment.

The role is full-time, hourly, with comprehensive benefits. You will be expected to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work weekends and holidays as part of a dedicated kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to transport objects up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides support through preparation and presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner.
• Ensures that the quality of all inventory and fresh produce are of the highest standards.
• Proper management of inventory levels including the storage area.
• Assists management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
• Completes any beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management.
