Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Manhattan Beach, CA is seeking team members to join our warm, hospitality-driven kitchen. You will prep and execute menu items for dine-in and to-go, maintain clean work areas, and assist the Kitchen Manager with par levels and line checks.

The role offers opportunities to grow within Convive Brands and its restaurant concepts. Expected to be flexible with scheduling, you’ll be cross-trained across kitchen areas and may handle knife-related tasks.

Qualifications

• 1 or 3 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Previous knife-handling experience a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep and execute all menu items, including seasonal and specials for dine-in and to-go by LPQ standards.
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized per checklists and assist with cleaning dishes and equipment.
• Assist Kitchen Manager in maintaining proper par levels and use prep sheets for correct levels.
• Conduct line checks for quality control and follow opening, mid, and closing procedures.
• Follow cleaning and food safety checklists to ensure proper handling.
