Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick Hickory is seeking a Cook to prepare chicken salads, pimento cheese, sides, soups, sauces, cookies, and more, following CSC recipes and SOS goals while keeping the station clean and organized. You will open/close prep, follow daily prep lists, maintain portion sizes, and work with a friendly team in a fast-paced environment that values guest service.

Experience in prep, operating kitchen equipment, and sanitation procedures is required; strong teamwork and communication, plus

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in prep (kitchen).
• Skilled in operating kitchen equipment.
• Must know and follow sanitation procedures.
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must showcase great organizational skills.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Brand Standards for uniform appearance and grooming.
• Complete duties on opening and closing prep and checklists.
• Refer to Daily Prep List at start of shift for duties.
• Prepare a variety of foods per CSC recipes and standards.
• Understand and comply with portion sizes, methods, quality standards and kitchen rules.
• Prepare all food products according to recipe specifications.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and equipment.
• Close the kitchen properly and assist others in closing.
• Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute improvement ideas.
• Report equipment or product quality problems to Management.
• Inform Management of product shortages.
