Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions.

• Sufficient education or training to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu.
• Prepare a daily report that verifies transactions.
• Understand what is inclusive of a meal and serve accordingly.
• Ensure storage of food is accurate and sanitary.
• Serve food according to meal schedules and policies.
• Use and care of kitchen equipment, especially knives.
• Prepare a variety of items, beverages, and garnishments.
• Coordinate and assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Follow the uniform policy and daily manager communications.
• Supervise temperature requirements and maintain clean areas.
• Scrub and sanitize counters and steam tables; perform ware washing.
• Maintain a neat garbage collection site and kitchen floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned; PPE may be used.
