Job summary

Fogo de Chão is hiring a Kitchen Prep to support our churrasco kitchen, prepping salad bar items, sides, and desserts to recipe standards. The role emphasizes maintaining high-quality inventory, proper storage, and cleanliness in a fast-paced setting.

Weekend and holiday availability is required. Full-time team members receive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, and access to voluntary benefits. Pay ranges from $17.75 to $21.75 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to transport objects up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work at a quick pace.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner.
• Ensures that the quality of all inventory and fresh produce are of the highest standards.
• Proper management of inventory levels including the storage area.
• Assists management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
• Completes any beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management.
