Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Moon Township, PA is seeking a Food Service/Prep Aide to assist the cook in the preparation and presentation of meals for residents and guests. You will prepare items, portion salads and desserts, keep the kitchen clean, run the dishwashing area, and support dining room service.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook with food prep and presentation.
• Portion and plate salads and desserts.
• Maintain kitchen and equipment cleanliness (including floors).
• Set up and run dishwashing operations and keep dishwasher clean.
• Clean pots and pans as needed.
• Check water temperatures and sanitation equipment.
• Take out garbage and maintain waste areas.
• Assist dining room service and pour beverages as needed.
• Stock food on shelves and in refrigerators.
• Report problems to supervisor.
• Attend required in-service and staff meetings.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and guests.
