We are seeking enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals to join our busy kitchen team at Bowood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in Calne. Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently. Working as part of a friendly and professional team, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating commercial dishwashing equipment
• Maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
• Cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and food preparation areas
• Supporting chefs with basic food preparation tasks
• Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
• Following food safety and health & safety procedures
• Helping to ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations

This is a full‑time role, working 40 hours per week on a shift rota, which includes 08:00-16:30 and 16:00-23:00. Reliable transport is required; free on-site parking is provided.

Candidate Requirements

• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and busy periods
• Previous kitchen, hospitality, catering or cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential – full training will be provided
