Job summary

Worcestershire County Cricket Club is looking for a proactive kitchen porter to support the Head Chef and ensure the kitchen remains clean and operational at all times. You will help with deliveries, storage, and paperwork, and assist with moving food around the site on match days.

The role requires energy, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions, with a focus on teamwork, multitasking, and maintaining clear communication in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef to keep the kitchen clean and operational.
• Carry in food deliveries and store them and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Clean ovens, dishes, pans, and other equipment.
• Clean the floor and dispose of kitchen waste and rubbish correctly.
• Keep kitchen walls and work surfaces clean.
• Bring food in from the storeroom and assist with moving food and deliveries around the site.

• Carrying in food deliveries and putting them into store and completing appropriate paperwork.
• Cleaning ovens, dishes, pans, and other equipment
• Cleaning the floor and disposing of kitchen waste and rubbish correctly
• Keeping kitchen walls and work surfaces clean.
• Bringing food in from the storeroom and assisting with moving food and deliveries around the site.
